I can see her , sometimes hear, smell, also touch, somehow realize, and
most of all she can move me
She can be politically extrem, she is always direct. She is bravely attempting.

She loves being excessive, may be theatrical, but acting takes no part.

She is present through human being, but also within their absence.

She loves boundaries, strives for the experience mental, bodily strength and weekness.

The preformance flirts with all the media and all the media with her. She is fleeting an enduring, she has the absolute closeness to daily
life.

...and when she took place, there remains
next to the trouble for a proper document
the memory of its being
maybe a trace will remain
the longing for somthing new...



All this and the certain feeling that both belong together have lead to
the fact,that The first Performance-FestivalSH shall take place at
"Schloß Salzau " this year.

I wish like to thank most of all the Ministry for Education, Science, Reserch an Culture of Schleswig Holstein for its co.financing of thr Festival, for its intuition and cooperation in giving Performance Art a new forum.

The Muthesius-Academy, particular thanks to Prof. Dr. Petra Maria Meyer for her intensive interest and the sucessfull co- ordinction of the Festival with the Symposium with the theme ' media changes in performances '.

The Symposium takes place 04.21 untill 04.24.
