Dream I
Duration: 1 hour
Date: 22.04.05
Location: big barn

Performance Installation during the festivalweek

Motivation: I use the enormous area of a 1000 square metres large barn and create a poetic performance installation.
Description: I stand in the middle of the room surrounded by numerous folded white paper boats hanging down from the ceiling. During the performance my body slowly sways from one side to the other. My eyes are closed and I seem to be dreaming.

Dream II
Duration: 1 hour
Date: 24.04.05
Location: EG-Suite, Mainbuilding

Performance Installation during the festivalweek

Motivation: I try to change the atmosphere of a room. If the audience enters, a fairy tale world appears in front of them.
Description: It is a bright guest room in an old castle. This octagonal room is about 25 square meters with a curved ceiling and three large windows. In the room there are a sloping bed and a wobbly night table with a glass; a table lamp stands on the ground and a chair tilts on the wall. The floor is bumpy with some little hills. Everything is covered with white Chinese rice paper. I lie on the bed covered with rice paper and I am dreaming. It looks like all the things of my dream have arrived the room.

Dream III

Duration: 1 hour
Date: 25.04.05
Location: Garden of the castle in Salzau

Performance Installation during the festivalweek

Motivation: In the past I did the performance inside, this time I want to try it outside. In the garden I meet more or less coincidentally the public.
Description: On a sunny day I sleep on an old bed standing in the garden. I crouch my body. Then I wake up as if I were in a trance, I begin to move, and I slowly stand up. I am everywhere and go towards the audience in the garden as if I am sleepwalking. Suddenly I slap someone from the audience round the face. Then, as if nothing had happened, I move on. Finally I go back to my bed and continue to sleep.

Live-Performance with Claudio Torsa

In sommer a naked man stands in a large field. He is looking ahead. There is a very beautiful bird sounds in the field and a big sun, sometimes come wind. I appear from a distant place to the direction of the man. In the beginning the public don't know what I do, because I am very small like a point. With the time the people see that I wear a pink dress and big glasses. I am looking for something with a magnifying glass and go stealthy towards the man.
I am shy to see his penis. I am also very curious about the penis and check it thoroughly through the magnifying glass. After I have finished my intensive studies of the penis, I leave the room thoughtfully.
Motivation: I come from China, which has a very different culture. There is no sexual education in the school system there. Before I was 21 years old, I really knew nothing about sex and I had never even spoken the word. I had a lot of questions in my mind at that time, for example: “ Why does a woman become pregnant?”, “ Where did I come from?”, “ Why do my parents have so many arguments?”. This was up until the day a girlfriend asked me what I knew about sex. I was very busy since that day.

In this performance, I am hanging right at the top of a wooden partition. I am like a clown or a child who cannot stop kicking her legs.
